The top of the stool can be personalised with the child's name, the occasion (e.g. 'on your christening', 'on your baptism'), and the date. The underside of the stool can be engraved with a longer secret message, a heartfelt note from parents, grandparents, godparents, or other loved ones that the child will one day discover for themselves.
